A perfect place to go, not only for the food which is just DELICIOUS (you have to try the mix for two 😍) but for the Mum and her daugther working there, we were there for two hours but it was enough to fall in Love with these beautiful people, don't hesitate, just go and taste it! Fabulous view, staff and food. We had the aperitifs for 3 and mixed meats and cheeses which was amazing value for money and such a great selection of beautiful fresh food that is local to the Puglia region. Grazie mille
A local friend recommended this place to us. We ordered the aperitif for two people €25 which was a combination of hot and cold vegetarian fresh food platters. All delicious and bursting with flavour. Amazing views of the town of Locorotondo from here as well. A must try! They constantly remind you — “You Look Fine”
Well where do I start with this little gem. Santina has been running Controra for 9 years and it’s an amazing find in the cool city of Locorotondo. The aperitif for 2 is an absolute must and all the wine options and cocktails here are delicious. If you are visiting Locorotondo then make sure you stop in here, have some great food and wine, take in the amazing view, and have a chat with Santina (that’s her in the background photo bombing whilst being always attentive to the guests) ! All round great experience, go check it out!

We intended to just get a quick drink here before dinner and enjoy the view, but the aperitivo we ordered was so substantial that it became our dinner. And a delicious dinner it was, with wonderful service from the mother and daughter team.
Well this was a highlight from our 5 day trip in/around Puglia. We sat here overlooking the valley & enjoyed a bottle of cold white wine & a mixed plate of ham & cheeses with bread. It was divine. The sun was blazing & we were out on the street under the brolly. Perfect. It turns out the woman who runs it was lovely & was family linked to the winery down the road I Pastini. This was such a lovely way to spend an hour & half. As I recall the wine was 16 euro & the board was 12. Worth every euro.
